Quick U-turn as Adams heads back to Dundee

JAMIE Adams last night made a shock return to Dundee after St Johnstone agreed to allow him to finish his loan.

The midfielder was recalled to McDiarmid Park on Wednesday and trained with his Perth team-mates yesterday at their Grangemouth base. But Saints manager Derek McInnes has allowed him to head back to the City of Discovery until January.

Manager Barry Smith said: “St Johnstone have kindly let Jamie come back to us for the remainder of his loan.

Denke mal, das wird an der Verletzung von Muzza liegen, St Johnstone gehen immer mehr Spieler durch Verletzungen verloren. In Motherwell saßen schon 4 Spieler auf der Bank, die unter 19 waren.

LIAM EXTENDS HIS STAY WITH SAINTS

The club is delighted to announce this afternoon that Liam Craig has signed a two-year extension to his contract, keeping him at Saints until the end of May 2013.

The midfielder, signed from Falkirk for a tribunal-decided fee, has been pivotal in the side’s success over the past few seasons and with his current deal due to expire in the summer all parties moved to secure his stay at McDiarmid Park.

Saints snap up Robertson

St Johnstone have signed 23-year-old former Sheffield United striker Jordan Robertson on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

Robertson, who had a loan spell with Dundee United in 2007/08, and spent time with Bury last season, is hoping to make an impact in the final weeks of the campaign at McDiarmid Park.

He told the club's official website: "It’s a massive opportunity for me and I feel I can do something for St Johnstone. I’ve settled in well during my time here, the guys have been great with me and I have been at the two cup ties against Brechin and the league game at Hamilton.
