Bin mal gespannt ob mit Bryson auch noch ein weiterer Spieler aus Kilmarnock kommen wird. Er wäre wohl der von JJ gesuchte Mittelfeldspieler.

An Bryson glaube ich nicht. Der hat Vertrag bis 2013 und würde Ablöse kosten. Die Kohle will Vlad bestimmt sparen.....

Burnley bid for Hearts ace Driver

Hearts have received a bid of about £1.5m from English Championship outfit Burnley for winger Andrew Driver.

The offer is likely to be turned down by the Scottish Premier League club, with Hearts believed to be seeking £2.5m for the 22-year-old.

Hearts have previously rejected bids from Burnley and Coventry City for the highly-rated player.

The winger, who progressed through the youth ranks at Tynecastle, is contracted until 2013.

Romanov blast at McGeady and Celtic

Hearts owner’s warning to McGeady is sure to land him in hot water with the SFA

Outspoken Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov has attacked Aiden McGeady in a rant over Spartak Moscow’s attempts to sign the wing ace.

According to a report in the Scottish Sun, the controversial Hearts owner called into question McGeady’s playing ability as well as Celtic’s integrity in a rant that is sure to leave player and club raging and make the SFA beaks sit up and take notice.

In his attack over Spartak’s intention to take the Republic of Ireland striker to Moscow in a £8.3m deal, Romanov blasted: “If McGeady moves to Spartak he will have to finally start playing football, not just pushing other players like in Scotland.”

The Russian-born Lithuanian businessman then went on to have a pop at Celtic by telling McGeady not to expect the preferential treatment he enjoys with the Hoops. In a statement clearly designed to provokem he suggested, not for the first time, that biased referees give the Old Firm an advantage over the rest of the SPL clubs.

“Also in Russia there are only 11 players in a team on the pitch, not like 12 in the Glasgow clubs.”

The outspoken comments are just the latest in a long line of pot shots at the Scottish game levelled by “Mad Vlad”.
