New Signing: Sean Higgins

The club is delighted to announce that experienced forward Sean Higgins has agreed to sign for The Bully Wee.

Higgins, 30, will join Clyde from Cowdenbeath on a one-year deal.

Sean's senior career started at Ross County, where he made his debut just before his 18th birthday. He went on to make over 200 appearances for The Staggies, scoring 56 goals.

The club is delighted to announce that Steven Brisbane will join Clyde from East Stirling this summer.

Brisbane, a 20-year-old midfielder, has agreed a one-year deal with The Bully Wee.

Steven began his career at Falkirk and made his debut for The Bairns as a 16-year-old. However, following a loan spell at Broxburn Athletic, he left Falkirk last summer and joined East Stirling.

NEW SIGNING: David Gormley

The club is pleased to announce the signature of David Gormley on a one-year deal.

The 27-year-old forward, formerly of Auchinleck Talbot, becomes Barry Ferguson's ninth new signing of the summer as the Clyde manager rebuilds the squad for the 2015-16 campaign.

Gormley began his career in Motherwell's youth academy, but took part in competitive action for the first time after signing for Glenafton Athletic. Moves to Ayr United and Alloa Athletic followed as he entered the senior ranks of Scottish football.

After returning to the Junior game with Rob Roy in 2011, David joined Super League Premier Division rivals Auchinleck a year later. He went on to become a regular starter for The Bot and scored over 50 goals over a three year period, including the winner in the 2013 Junior Cup Final.

Squad Update

The club is pleased to announce that Marvin Andrews and Anthony Higgins have joined the first team squad, after both men agreed amateur terms with The Bully Wee.

Their arrival comes ahead of expected loan moves in the opposite direction in the near future.

Andrews needs little introduction, having featured in the Scottish game for nearly 20 years. Throughout that time, he featured for several clubs, most notably Raith Rovers, Livingston and Rangers. The big centre half also collected a superb 101 caps for his country, Trinidad and Tobago.

Higgins, 19, is at the opposite end of his career and recently left Cowdenbeath. The forward - younger brother of new team-mate Sean - has also been on the books at Alloa and St. Johnstone and will be hoping to grab any first team opportunities that come his way.

Three Players Added to Squad

Barry Ferguson has moved to add three players to the playing pool ahead of Saturday's Ladbrokes League 2 match against Berwick Rangers at Broadwood.

Goalkeeper Marc Waters (pictured on homepage) has joined the club on a one-month emergency loan deal from Partick Thistle. Marc is on the fringes of the first team at Firhill and has been brought in following John Gibson's red card at Elgin last weekend.

Two players have also signed on amateur terms, initially until the end of the season.

Returning to Clyde is 24-year-old winger Paul Slane (pictured right). The former Celtic and Ayr United man had a short spell with The Bully Wee last year, featuring in six matches. Also joining the club is Reece Glackin from Airdrie. Reece, 19, is a midfielder who was previously part of Clyde's youth academy set up during his school years
