AC Milan have secured the signing of exciting Valencia striker Jordi Escobar for a bargain fee, according to a report.
According to journalist Salva Gomis on Twitter though, Milan have secured the signing of Escobar for a compensation fee of €2.5million. He will put pen to paper on his first professional contract with the Rossoneri and will leave on loan for FC Groningen immediately. UPDATE: Gomis now adds that not everything is agreed regarding the loan deal to Groningen.

Leihen ohne Kaufoptionen gefallen mir auch nicht so wirklich, ähnlich wie bei Díaz. Normal hatte Milan solche Deals stets abgelehnt, weil man nicht den Ausbildungsverein für andere spielen wollte.

Sehe ich auch so, wobei es aus Vereinssicht noch Sinn machen würde, wenn wir Laxalt und einen RV noch abgeben, dann wäre er halt eine solide Backuplösung, denn an Theo kommt er ohnehin nicht vorbei und an Calabria kurz- bis mittelfristig wohl auch nicht. Aus Spielersicht kann ich es daher garnicht nachvollziehen der Kerl ist 21 Jahre jung und braucht dringend Spielpraxis. Ausserdem hätte ich Kalulu gerne etwas mehr Spielzeit/Chancen gegeben. Und sollte er überraschenderweise voll einschlagen, dann sind wir auch nur der Ausbildungsverein...
