RUDI SKACEL'S future at Hearts is no closer to being resolved, and manager Jim Jefferies admits he will just have to "get on with it" if his midfield talisman leaves.
Jefferies also revealed the player has expressed sympathy for him over the impasse that has been reached in negotiations between Skacel and the club's majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov.
"The bottom line is we want it sorted one way or another," said Jefferies.
"He (Skacel] knows that too and he even had a chat with me and said 'This isn't good for you either, gaffer'.
"He'd like to stay provided he's looked after the way he was told he would be. He understands, so the quicker they decide the better. If he's not here, we'll get on with it."
